Meet the Specialist

Family pic.jpg

With over 15 years of experience in pediatric speech and language pathology, I have a passion for helping children read and communicate effectively. I have extensive expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism, ADHD, early intervention, and variety of language based disorders. I have recently transitioned my focus to literacy evaluation and intervention after my own child demonstrated learning difficulties.

I am currently in training to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist and have completed Neuhaus Basic Language System Book 1, among other trainings related to dyslexia.

As a parent and therapist I have a unique perspective on what it means to navigate an education and medical system that is confusing and complicated. I bring a warm, parent-friendly approach to every consultation and therapy session. My goal is to empower the child and family to get the services they need to succeed.
